i hope they dont release a trailer and screens with graphics that are completely different from the actual graphics like they did with RS1

It's been in development since before E3 08, since Ubisoft stated so, which means it has 18 months at least in development.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Well the first one did have some classic moments. But the ending was soooooo vague. I just didn't get it. One moment I was fighting some Japanese dude or other, the next I had presumably beaten the game. I didn't get it at all. The story was a mess. :p

Here's what I require in order to purchase this game:

-Four-player split-screen AND online with guests (seriously, Halo 2 had this back in 2004 on a weaker system)
-WiiSpeak support (would be cool if you could buy this game bundled with one)
-Good sword-fighting controls
-The ability to actually sword-fight in multiplayer, rather than just stunning opponents with the blade.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

The fact that people have hope suprises me. The first one wasnt all that great, and even if it was rushed, this is Ubisoft were talking about here. Of course it could always be Ubisofts version of Monter Hunter 3, you never know.
