I was undecided between RPG and racer and I don't remember which I voted!
Anyhow, although initially I liked whichever racer, now I'd like they developed more of the realistic ones instead of arcade driving ones, or even better, to cater for everybody's tastes and enlarging the audience make the game profitable, those that let the player choose the level of driving aids changing the same game from arcade to simulation and possibly something between too.
Heh, it looks like FPS fans are too busy playing KZ2 to vote their favourite genre in the final poll...
Better for RPG, Racer and Action/Adventure fans!

This, specifically Mario ones.
But also Sonic.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

Looks like RPG is going to take it, that's pretty weird sinse Action/Adventure beat RPG for the last poll
^^
Probably more fans of genres that didn't make it to the finals had RPG as their 2nd choice.
Did someone spam the racer category?... I could have sworn it was around 1% lower than action/adventure.
Either way though, racer FTW!

^^
It had less votes than in the wildcard round, but a lot more than in the primary round, but many genres had mixed results along the poll stages.
Racer FTW, but only as long as they release titles where good and difficult simulation can be chosen besides eased arcade driving (pure simulative games (*) could appeal "hardcore drivers" more, but they would have a too limited audience, putting developers at risk, so selectable driving difficulty and a very good physical model are the best solution, provided that the game makes possible, if desired, to force the same driving difficulty for multiplayer races).
(*) like GPL where the only facilitations are those imposed by most widespread controllers, that is sequential gears and automatic clutch, and the only other facilitations, default settings and reduced engine power, ease only learning, but don't give any performance advantage.
