If u mean GeOW the answer is no because people tend to by any game thats heavily advertised and got good scores (some times not) but after that when second one come the true fans buy the second one, notice how every great series had much sales with the first game (MGS,FF,Resistance, GTA) thats a fact.

A bout the better game GeoW 2 got 90-88% scores (out of ideas all ready)
While GOW 2 got 93-94% (GOD III will have better scores) clearly its the better game ,And it came out First ,and the main charter is the GOW.

 

1. GOW 2 sales are very close to GOW 1 sales and is still selling so your whole underlined part of your post means nothing.

2. 90-88%? Where are you getting your numbers from ,your ass? Both GOW 1/2 are at 93%. And how is it clearly the better game if it has the exact same score? And who in their right mind would compare a hack n slash and a TPS?
