God of War was GoW years before Gears came out.
From day 1 of GeoW's release, it was GeoW.
You are free to type GoW and invite confusion.

God of War 3 well sell much better because i noticed a lot of people who didnt play 1 or 2 are excited by 3. (can u blame them after the EPIC trailers)
If u mean GeOW the answer is no because people tend to by any game thats heavily advertised and got good scores (some times not) but after that when second one come the true fans buy the second one, notice how every great series had much sales with the first game (MGS,FF,Resistance, GTA) thats a fact.
A bout the better game GeoW 2 got 90-88% scores (out of ideas all ready)
While GOW 2 got 93-94% (GOD III will have better scores) clearly its the better game ,And it came out First ,and the main charter is the GOW.

People do know God of War was released in 2005, right?
Also, nen-suer, both GOW 1's have 94's on metacritic. Oh, and guess what? And both GOW 2's have 93's? Did you pull that argument out of your ass?

I believe it was gamespot scores,i was trying to prove a point that got lost in translation ( kinda pissed off by this thread......looks like am Reinforcement type
