Surely not -- there is far too much awesomeness there. I'll need more than a rumour to get excited by this.

This is good and all but I (and many others) need Sony to allow other accessories to work for PS1/2 games. I have this awesome SF IV arcade stick that doesn't work on PS2 games because Sony needs to address it with a firmware update. C'mon Sony, get to it.

Finally I'll be able to look at walkthroughs without having to exit the game then go into the browser! :)

These are great features, circa 2007.  The fact they aren't there *now* is a little embarassing. If I am sony, I would slip this and pretend it was always there!

It sounds like another one of those firmware wishlists that pops every now and then. It'd be awesome if it were true, but I doubt it is.

And why would we need themes in-game?

Edit: OH!  For the icons.  I'm an idiot.  I thought they wanted backgrounds in there, and I was like... that's pointless.

Yup MM, sounds very like a big wishlist to me too. It'd be more believable if it was edited down. Even if they were planning all this, they wouldn't release it all in one patch.
