Next week, 360 > Wii will be likely.

The following week, PS3 > Wii will be very likely since there are the 10000 Yakuza 3 bundles.

Anecdotal?

There will be 10,000 limited Yazkuza 3 'dragon tattoo' PS3 release at the same time as the game, this is a confirmed number and you can bet it will be snapped up pretty quickly.

I´m very surprised that Wii beat PS3 this week. I was really expecting PS3 to beat it (slightly) with the help of SF4 and no software releases for Wii.

Oh well, I guess Nintendo can never be counted out. PS3 will win a few weeks though (Yakuza 3, Resident Evil 5).

Wow. The preview was WAY off.

Wii has found its new base level at ~20.000. Not bad, but the software situation is dramatic. There's a drought until April, after that I expect the Wii to return to PS2 level sales again.

I expected more from SF4 and definitely expected the PS3 to beat Wii this week. Guess SF4 appeals to the existing audience but not much outside that. Next week 360 will win the three weeks after I think PS3.

Wii > PS3 in SF4 week with a software drought and never having had a price cut (with PS3 having had several price cuts and new colors)... Not too bad, but not great either.

Wii starting to get pretty low?

Starting? Looking at YoY sales in Japan is depressing.

The problem really is the general trend. I don't think this is necessarily reason for Sony fans, or any fans of videogames to celebrate. This is mostly about the Wii declining, not the rise of the PS3.

If anything we are seeing handhelds take the place of home console gaming, the Wii was really the alternative to that, not the PS3. Unless Nintendo can reverse the trend, and make living room gathering popular again, something that is unique to a home console, there will be an overall decline in revenue for a while in Japan.

Ouch@Dissidia, where is it? I thought it could easily make the million!

Wow Inazuma Eleven is almost at 300K. Impressive legs for the genre.
