Forums - Sony Discussion - White Knight Chronicle eurogamer Review: 8/10

@memory2zack: I agree lol, L5 stories and classical but good IMO. But it's true that gameplay is usually "poor". WKC seems to bring a lot of cool new stuff, so this could be a good one! I hope the online mode is good to (and I hope for a summer release, I don't want 25 good games in two months like last Xmas!!!).

Good score.

I'm glad they enjoyed it. That's a good score.

And are we sure this is an import review?

8/10 from Eurogamer is a pretty good review. That's what MGS4 and Bioshock received.

and Gears of War.

@outlawauron: Yes. They have the japanese flag on their import review.

Gameplay in Level 5 games tend to be better than the stories.  What was wrong with the gameplay in previous Level 5 games?

did anyone else notice the writer never says ANYTHING about the Story?

You've got Killzone 2 gifs in your sig and you are complaining about story?

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

@akuma

hey I'm a mario fan but I still really like games with good stories (MGS4)

An 8 from Eurogamer for a PS3 exclusive RPG is like a 10 from anywhere else.

Hopefully this means that other Western reviewers will follow will scores ranging from 7-9s with a couple of 6s.
