Alexei was a great villian you loved to hate just like Sephiroth.They both did a crap load of thing that just sets you off.And they both have great character designs as well and both were very powerful, Alexei's Mystic Art Brilliant Cataclysm was DEADLY

HEAVY SPOILERS AHEAD. HIGHLIGHT TO READ.

Alexei "IS" the villian of Vesperia. He is the one who manipulated the events from the very beginning, from sending shwann to shadow you as raven and guide you as you help him bring the world to ruin. To taking over the captial city and infesting it with aer and aersick monsters. All while under the guise as "the good guy". Ontop of that, he lead his men to their deaths like they were completely meaningless to him. Schwann, Cumore, Ragou? All pawns of his that he deemed their death nessessary for his plans. He had absolutely no value for human life and woudl do absolutely anything to achieve his goals. So that is why he is the villian.

Duke may be the final boss, but the only reason he is the final boss is because his way of saving the world and yuri's way of saving the world was very different. Both yuri and duke are good guys, both of them wanted to save the world. But Duke believed humans were the cause of the world's suffering, therefor removing the problem would save the world.

The next battle will be devided for each set of characters. Rikku will be the first. Monty has already stated his bias for Rikku so I highly doubt that she will lose.

I find it funny that people think HP and Damage done are consistant across all RPGS.

Hell they aren't even consistant within series.

As for cooler character... Well "Fighter" from Final Fantasy 1 is a cooler character then Cloud so....
