Based on Universal Pictures' action-thriller Wanted, this game promises to deliver the same fantastic visual style, in-your-face attitude and edge-of-your-seat action as the blockbuster motion picture. The game continues the story of hero Wesley Gibson, picking up the action where the film leaves off and creating an entirely new chapter exploring both Wesley’s journey to becoming an unmatched überassassin and the epic fiction of "The Fraternity."

Featuring intense third-person action, the Wanted video game will take combat to the next level with iconic moves -- such as "Curving Bullets" and "Assassin Time" -- drawn directly from the film, as well as an innovative, multi-layered cover mechanic.

The game has been designed to allow the player to curve bullets (as depicted in the film) by adjusting the line of fire prior to pulling the trigger. The game will also feature Max Payne-style Bullet time gameplay mechanics and allows the player to dual-wield weapons. There is also heavy use of the cover system, which rewards the player for efficient use of cover. Sometimes you get to wear The Killer's signature suit. The player can go in to Assassin Time and everything becomes slow motion in the game.  Players will be able to play as Wesley and Cross in various sections of the game.

Set directly after the events of the film, Wesley Gibson continues his transformation into a full-fledged assassin and heir to a legacy of a secret fraternity of assassins. He continues his quest with a new mission to seek out the French chapter of The Fraternity, hunt down The Immortal and finally discover the truth about his family. While the plot of the movie revolves around Wesley's relationship with his father the plot of the game will revolve around his relationship with his mother. The story of the game begins 5 hours after the movie. Wesley is sleeping and he wakes up when people kick down his door trying to kill him.

I liked it quite a lot. I'm not sure if I'd feel differently if I was a fan of the comic, but coming into it with no knowledge of the source material, I thought it was really good. James McAvoy rules.

After Stranglehold...... I only trust Remedy in making games with bullet time
