Um I guess I'll be first. YES! It's the only thing I didn't like about TP. The silence is getting old.

having played other games with voice acting, i'd say that good voice acting is much preferred to reading text is much preferred to bad voice acting. so i would really like it if nintendo added voice acting to the LoZ franchise. that said, i guess link doesn't need to be the one talking - in the previous games navi/midna did all the "talking" so keeping that trend would be fine with me.

Link not talking allows you to put yourself in his role. It's the same reason that Samus doesn't speak, and Master Chief is a man of few words. They are thinking what you're thinking. If they say something that you wouldn't say, it breaks the illusion.

Link no, the rest or npc's sure as long as they are good and don't ruin the game.

Do it Fable 2 style. Everyone else can speak and seem to understand what he's trying to convey, but Link shouldn't speak.

I join the 'no' bandwagon in Link's case. Personally, I think his voice is better left for the imagination to fill in. Having said that though, good voice acting is always a great thing.

it would be kinda funny to see link say something instead of drink milk in SSB games.

I would like to see Link speak in future games. It opens up a whole new world.
