That's called the Tetris effect. Sailors actually get it the worst, they dream of a horizon line moving up and down (like the rock of a ship) for an entire night.

When Tomb Raider first came out for the Saturn, I had a very bad nightmare.

I remember getting sick one day and not going to school. So I decided to play some Tomb Raider. The combination of being sick and the games graphics made me want to vomit. That night I had a life like dream. I had a dream that I was in a room and giant boulders were falling down from the sky. In my dream I'm laying down and I can't move. The boulders start landing on my chest. As they hit, my body aborbs them. I can actually feel massive amount of pain hammering my chest. I open my eyes, trying to wake myself up. Even though my eyes are open I can still see the boulders falling down on me. I finally worked up enough energy to get off my bed and run to the lights. I sat in bed the whole night with the lights on. My body was drenched with sweat.

Guess what I did the next day... played some more Tomb Raider. haha

I had a sick killzone dream a couple nights ago. I was fucking shit up (such as helghast) until I ran out of ammo and they just kept marching towards me. Can't really remember after that..I'm guessing they fucked me up

When i had a fever once i dreamt of Icicle Mountain (IC stage from Smash Bros Melee) running in an infinite loop. Melee's been the only game i've ever dreamt of (at least that i can recall)

I had a re-occuring nightmare that had a very Resident Evil 3 feel to it, mostly because of the Nemesis. In a bit of irony, RE3 was the only RE "proper" I never played. I had sold my PS1 and bough a DC. Only watched my friend play through portions of it.

When I was younger, I was playing resident evil with my uncle for hours. When I went to bed, I had a nightmare that I was paralyzed and the zombies were coming after me. They got to me and started ripping through my stomach. Damn, it felt so real

The most recent dream I had about a video game was resistance 2. I was in the level where you were stuck in the creepy apartment with no lights and things kept attacking you from left to right. Well in the dream, that was happening to me except I had a chainsaw (HELL YEAH) and then the dream some how switched to GTA IV and Niko shot me down

Those are basically the only dreams I can remember lol 

When I got "HALO WARS," I played it for several hours. Went to sleep and was base building in my dreams. I woke up too many times. I tried to go back to sleep and the same thing happened.

Strategy games really get me going mentally.

The only other time I dreamed about the game I had played into a coma was 'Ridge Racer' on the PS1. I saw the track in my dreams.

Haha, back when I was habitually playing Age of Empires 3, I had lots of similar crazy dreams. See what you do to us, Ensemble!?

when i was a kid i get a very scary nightmare after i played Splatterhouse 3
for the first time after that i had a dream of monsters, bloods and ghosts everywhere .. i waked up scared but what make me more scared that i found the window that overlook at the graveyard was opened ?! .... until now i dont know how its opend .... creepy.
