i've always wondered about people like the_vagabond7 they know that a particular game doesn't interest them yet they still enter the post and "party-poop". weird.

lol, I'm very happy for the fans. It really looks like this will deliver what they loved about the first two. I just wasn't a big fan.

maynard i thought this was gameplay since in QA they talk about blood orbs which is what you get after killing something. also in what cut scene in the previous games does krotos go on a killing spree (except for the war scenes. im talking more about the mobs you actually face in the game) I cant think of one. they devs always let you do the slaughtering yourself

Sorry, I didn't know "God of war II media blowout is here!!!" meant "Only one kind of post is allowed in this topic! Praise or get out!" I thought we were on a discussion forum, not a religious convent. As such I'm discussing rather than worshipping. My bad if I was incorrect. Furthermore, what I said wasn't even negative, unless of course you think it is absolutely vital that I personally like this game.

You should just rent or buy the first two. Both are greatest hits so they will be $20 or $10 used.

Even now they are still awesome, and the visuals in GoW2 are great for the PS2. The gameplay is what makes them stand out though, which is why you should play them if you are interested in GoW3.

Play god of war 1, gow2, and gow Chains of Olympus. They are all fantastic games and cheap too.
