Yea and that's probably an under statement.  I mean Wii had Wii Fit last year but still with AC you would have hoped some of the damage from the strong yen would have been alleviated.  Wii is just getting hit very hard by this along with the PSP.  DS and PS3 getting hit hard as well but nothing compared to PSP and especially Wii.  360 seems unphased but that's because it's been hit harder haha.

Yea I'm not trying to hate either just how it is.  Market for hardware is bad for everyone now.  Even if people see good things in 360 up, it's still not recovering what is being lost by the top 3: DS, Wii, and PSP.  Meaning it will either start to go down as well because it's not lead brand or will simply just stay stale. 

But something has to be done.  I'm hoping that MH3, FF13, and DQ9 will accomplish something and move the market along but they are still awhile off.

I think Japan is only place where people don't buy Wii and DS, as well any other console without reason.That is great!That way we will begin to see more games on each console!(pointing with 2m stick WII)

We just happen to know people acutally live in Japan and Asia, where MHP is popular :)

It's not 100% about the game, it's about socializing with your friends while playing MH.

Yeah i realised your werent hating, I just thought my comment could be Misinterpreted, so i was just giving a heads up.

Games targeted for the japanese market will be rare in the future. Yakuza e.g. is a game which is almost only popular in Japan. The japanese market is shrinking and development costs are increasing. It just doesn't make sense to create games for Japan from a economical point of view.

As a developer you have to be successful in the west. that's where the money is.
