It's very odd that the Xbox 360 is actually slowly climbing in sales, they barely ever have games in the top 30 yet there still buying it.

Congrats on PS3, seems to be leveling off around 17,000

Wii should realize that they better get some AAA games out or the rest of the world will be seeing a similar down fall in sales like Japan.

And both handhelds are doing quite nice in Japan.

Indeed I am kiddo, see that you have no idea about what console the franchise is big on. Said it once and will say it again, it's going to be a mindfuck when those numbers release for many of you.

Total hardware for our 3 current gen consoles adds up to 46k. That's just not good at all. Add in PSP and DS for another 90k and we are left with 136k total hardware sales. DS used to do that in one week alone let alone all the current consoles together. I can only imagine where PSP and DS would be without their respective new versions.

Only thing up YoY is the 360 and of course that's only about a 4k increase over which is good percentage wise but barely anything when comparing on a grand scheme. The overall result is a very bad situation hardware wise in Japan for all of them. The even sadder thing about it is none of them are doing anything to change it. Going to be a long drawn out problem it seems in Japan.

but after the TGS crowd around MH3 I feel wii MH3 will be big

360 is up a lot from last year.

Well, to be fair this week last year was Brawl's second week out. But yeah, both Wii and PSP and way down from last year.

360 showing some good growth both weekly and yearly however...
