Total hardware for our 3 current gen consoles adds up to 46k. That's just not good at all. Add in PSP and DS for another 90k and we are left with 136k total hardware sales. DS used to do that in one week alone let alone all the current consoles together. I can only imagine where PSP and DS would be without their respective new versions.
Only thing up YoY is the 360 and of course that's only about a 4k increase over which is good percentage wise but barely anything when comparing on a grand scheme. The overall result is a very bad situation hardware wise in Japan for all of them. The even sadder thing about it is none of them are doing anything to change it. Going to be a long drawn out problem it seems in Japan.
