Forums - General - Spain 2-0 England

wow, were utter crap tonight, our defence was awfull, the midfield was redundant and the strikers may as well have stayed at home, awfull performance, really was, we still have a LONG way to go before we can challenge teams like Spain in the World Cup,

Expected, didn't see the match, but Spain's really strong now, one of the best teams in the world (and a good shot for the best team). And, as I said before, England had no good forwards

What was the irish result?

Spain is really strong this is so obvious , they have a perfect team
I'm sad too , Italy got kicked yesterday :(

The national team will never win anything thus making all fixtures redundant. This game was nothing more than a disruption to club football. Why can't international shit be done outside the club season. It wouldn't matter if we had 11 AAA players we wouldn't win jack. Internationals piss me off, I hate them. Hopefully the team will lose and be disbanded along with other international football and can concentrate on clubs. Which is what really matters.

Spain has one of the world's best teams at the moment. Deserved European champion and current leader of the world ranking. Will be interesting to watch how they'll perform in South Africa.

Other interesting result: France 0-2 (0-1) Argentina

(It's nearly impossible to beat an Argentinian national team that's in the lead after 1st half, has Messi in top form on the field and Maradona in front of the bench)

Capello has done a good job as England manager, but without Joe Cole and Wayne Rooney, we were never going to be in the game, we are still miles behind Spain

I thought it was a good in-form team. But I guess that's not how things work

It was all right, but nothing more than a friendly match, didn't see England go for it. Decided to watch the ending through English TV and... What I found offensive was the commentator from ITV; saying he hadn't heard any racist cries from the Spanish supporters, WTF is that all about????

PS: Also talking about how Beckham is doing great after all the jetlag and charities... lol, ok?
