I got a black DS and I think it's by far the prettiest colour for the handheld!

I bought the Onyx a few weeks ago. I hate the other colors available except for maybe the White one. The DS is the best handheld ever for its amazing plethora of software.

You didn't see red then.

I wish I'd got a red one. Black was my favourite when they came out (don't like the white one and it really shows dirt) but the red is so much nicer.

The red or the black may be the sexiest... but the prettiest is the light blue.... followed by white, then the dark blue that Japan has.

I don't see the appeal of the lime green one, but it seems to sell ok.

Agree completely.  Don't know why anyone would want any other colour apart from a girl.

They are just making shelf space for the DSi, out Onyx in new handhelds.

And I got myself the Cobalt/Black, the best of both worlds!!!

hmmm, no.... I think the bi-colour DSs are by far the ugliest official ones.

From the colours i can remember, here are my ratings: (just found a Japan colour set)

1. Light Blue (same as Ice Blue in Japan)
2. White
3. Dark Blue (Japan only I think... called Enamel Navy)
4. Metallic Rose (I think Japan only... it's a really nice orangey pink)
5. Red
6. Black
7. The limited edition gold one for LoZ:PH
8. Pink
9. Green (don't get me wrong, it's a lovely colour, I just don't think it suits the DS)
10. Silver (we are not in the 90s! silver is not nice unless it's actual metal)
11. Bi-colour black and blue
12. Bi colour black and red
