I think those screenshots just gave me eye cancer.
I think those screenshots just gave me eye cancer.
I think those screenshots are CGI. All kidding aside I hope not too many unsuspecting consumers buy it.

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai
It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps
We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick
I still can't get over how bad it looks.
BTW: Where the heck did Diddy Kong appear from? When was he announced?
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Perhaps you should keep better track of the updates. They've already announced Sonic, Megaman, Miis, and Miyamoto as playable characters as well...get on the ball!

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

There's balance ball fighting. Wow, that opens up new and innovative methods of control. :|

I'm telling you, the actual game won't look quite that bad (though it will probably look horrible, just not as bad as those crap screenshots). And Midway released Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for the Wii, that wasn't such a bad game... IGN gave it a 7.8 I just don't see how the final game could actually look like this, I don't believe it will. |
Wow, is your TV incompatible with the NES? Because the NES used 256x224 resolution. ;)
I'm really hoping that Midway can pull through. I want to see more Gauntlet titles... preferably without the bugs that plagued the Gamecube version of Dark Legacy.
Holy god, what was Midway thinking?

OK, seriously, that can't be a full screenshot. If you look closely, you'll see that each rendered pixel is actually taking up 2x2 pixels in the JPEG image. That means the original image only had a 300 x 204. So the original looked like this:
And this image still looks more jaggy than it would in the real game, because stretching it then shrinking it back down again results in edge distortion.
I don't think anyone needs to worry about aliasing (the technical term for "jaggies"), as I think this is just a bad pic. However, I would be concerned that there are many Gamecube games that look better than this, even ignoring the aliasing.
