Forums - Sales Discussion - Will Halo Wars be to the RTS genre what Halo was to FPS's??System seller??

I think Halo Wars may be the catalyst that leads to Ensembles fanbase (since they were ruthlessly shut down) to Xbox 360. Ensemble Fans are very large in numbers and include many RTS gamers.....so this may also lead to lots n lots of RTS gamers moving to xbox 360

not only this but demo impressions are very positive too!

will Halo Wars be to the RTS genre like Halo was to the FPS genre

Will it actually sell LOADS of systems??

I think most RTS fans would like to be able to play on PC (me). And I just don't think it's big enough to sell that many consoles, I'm sure it would a lot better on PC.

It will give an amazing boost!

So HELLLLLLLLL YEEEAAAAAA

I think there's a reason M$ used "Halo" in the title when it really is a new IP...cause the name sells. Some may not even know it's an RTS.

I think it won't push many consoles, because Halo already IS THE Xbox franchise.

i'm on board to get this game now. at first i was just going to wait until it comes out on the pc but i wouldn't mind playing it on the 360.

@kirby007

laugh all you want

but only the brandname saved PS3 from the fate of other consoles that launched at $599

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

i myseif think that they should of just made a age of empires exclusively on the xbox that would probably get more people to the xbox

Since you're more enlightened than the rest of us, how else would you explain the reason why the ps3 is even selling at all considering the competition?
