thats a very nice question!!i dont know which will be considered classics but i know which wont be considered classics.
halo3,cod,mgs4,killzone2,resistance,resi5.
my bet on future classic goes to mario galaxy,geometry wars,street fighter4 and maybe some rpgs..

I would love to include games like Uncharted, Halo 3, Gears Of War, Resistance, etc, but while they have good sales, I wouldn't call them classics as they only appeal to core and hardcore gamers, and with the appearance of a sequel or another acclaimed game in their genre is released, people will stop playing them.
