why is halo: ce not included in your xbox totals if i remember right thats another 6 or 7 mill

I predict that there will be:

Gears 2 single player expansion DLC, Gears 3 with more DLC and expansions

Halo 4 and Halo prequel (the PJ project) with significant DLC maps



Also, I think we all know that the upcoming GTA game is GTA4: The Lost and Damned which will sell in the millions. Im not sure but the 2nd episode DLC may also be 360 exclusive.

I hope Rare and Lionhead can pull up something in the future that will sell at these levels.

End of gen:

1. CoD - impossible to perdict, 30 mill?
2. Halo - 19 million (without Halo 4)
3. Gears - 18 million
4. Guitar Hero - 15 million
5. Assassin's Creed - 13 million

If GTA5 comes out this gen which I doubt then GTA takes No. 5 with 14 million.

By end of Gen I'd say:

1. Call of Duty - Yearly releases with Modern Warfare 2 being the best selling in the whole series.

2. Halo - They will make a Halo 4 even though 3 was supposed to be the end. Halo Wars and OSDT will help sales.

3. Gears of War - The third one should sell another 5-6 million.

4. Tom Clancy - Another Rainbow Six, another Ghost Recon, HAWX, Conviction all still to come which should all sell well except maybe HAWX.

5. Madden - Yearly releases which should all sell 2 million or more. It will pass Guitar Hero on the list.

I'll do another top 5, but this time based on average (per title in series)

1. Halo (Halo Wars, OSDT, and Halo 4 to come)

2. Grand Theft Auto (there will be at least a 5th this gen)

3. Gears of War (a 3rd to come)

4. Assassin's Creed (There will be at least 3 this gen)

5. Call of Duty (Modern Warfare 2, another Infinity Ward one, and 1 more shitty treyarch installment this gen)

i think its just amazing how much software it is selling.

i mean i think there will 8 franchises that will sell more than the top Xbox franchise in Halo. (i.e >15m)

Halo wars is definantly 3 - 4m possible i mean Halo gets everyones attention. and when people actuall see how good it is, good WOM will sell well for a long time.

but if you ad the three halos together (C.E., 2 and 3 ) it is 23.98 using our database not 15 sonot quite unless your only counting this gen which is at 9 for one game

Games sell millions on the XBox 360, which is why developers are flocking to it. Just look at games like LIPS and Viva Pinata. Those games normally wouldn't sell over a millions copies, but they will.

Hmm By the end sales of the lates two iterations in the top two franchises sales should look something like this

COD - 28 - 30m (COD - MW2 Sell around 9 - 11m)

Halo - 17 - 18m (Halo ODST Sales around 6m)

Halo will be around 10m behind but both will have around a 6m average.

Halo Reach should sell 8 - 12m maybe even 13 - 15m as Halo 3 will get to 12m most likely. putting Halo at 30m and COD 6 will prob do another 5m.

Question 1:

1. Call of Duty - There will be at least 8 or 9 Call of duty's this gen so sales will be really high considering IW can keep it fresh (we all know treyarch just copies IW)
2. Halo - Theres 4 Halo's including Reach and there will probably be at least 1 or 2 more spinoffs before the end of this gen
3. Madden - There will be Madden '06-'13 probably on the 360 each selling at least a couple million.
4. Tom Clancy - There's already a lot of these games plus Conviction is coming, Ghost Recon 4 is coming, probably a new Rainbow Six soon, etc. Sales should be good.
5. Grand Theft Auto - I expect to see at LEAST a GTA5 and possibly a GTA6

Question 2

1. Grand Theft Auto - Theres only gonna be 2-3 of them this gen (likely) but should be about a 8-10 million average
2. Halo - Probably like a 7-8 million average sales. I doubt any future spinoff will sell as high as Halo 3
3. Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 could sell 10 million. It should only go down from there but still average 6-7 million
4. Gears of War - Around 5 million average per game
5. Forza - If Forza 3 does well then the series could average around 3-4 million/game

Question 3

1. Call of duty will could sell like 40 million if its at 18 million now and MW2 should do amazing (like 10 mill+)
2. Halo could be 30 million or more depending on if theres more spinoffs then just reach and ODST
3. Grand Theft Auto will sell 25-30 million
4. Madden could do like 20 million over my estimated 8 games this gen on the 360
5. Gears would do 15 million on the main series and a spinoff would put the series closer to 20 million

Question 4

1. 8-9 Call of Duty's isn't out of the question considering MW2 is really Call of Duty 6
2. I expect 6 Halo's meaning 2 more unannounced spinoffs
3. 8 Maddens like I said. I'm probably low on that probably more like 10 since maddens come out for last gen systems for a long time
4. 4 Gears of wars since I'm expecing a spinoff
5. 3 GTA's
