Forums - Gaming Discussion - FPS haters due to dual analog control!

Actually aiming is more fun and immersive than aiming with an analog stick. The controls on the Wii for FPS are superior to dual analog. Play MP3, COD:WAW, or MOH: H2 on the Wii and you'll see if I'm right. You'll never want to play dual analog again. It's like trying to play a shooter with a single analog stick after playing with dual analogs. Get with the times you dinosaurs. :p

Actually aiming with a wiimote is not any more fun or immersive than using a mouse/kb or dual analogs. I've tried 2 of those games you mentioned and still I prefer dual analogs and tolerable graphics.

Do you know what the word immersive means?

I am not sure. Could you explain how holding a plastic thing is any more immersive than.. holding a plastic thing?

Actually aiming and pointing could be more immersive than say, aiming by moving your thumb.

we are talking about controls here, not graphics

gameplay is more realistic when using the IR to shoot, also much faster gameplay

if you played MP3 for example and still prefer dual analog for shooters, you can wish Sony/Microsoft do not use Wii controls in future consoles (they will, except if they hate money)

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Good for you if you feel that way. For me, it is just the same.

@dark ghost boy

There is nothing realistic about pointing to a tv screen with a remote or using a analog stick. Nothing.

Actually you wouldn’t be more immersed even if you held a real gun :P

Aiming and hitting a trigger button is not more realistic to you at all than aiming with a stick and hitting shoulder button? Come on.

Whatever. I can use dual analog just fine.
Sure! You can also play Mario Kart ds without snaking or hacking the code. See how far that gets you.
