Other than Halo and Doom, the Xbox had pretty much the same set of shooters as the PS2.

Welcome to VGChartz. Since your new here, not everyone on here is serious when they make posts. My first post had a touch of sarcasm towards playstation fans who want KZ2 to be soooo good. ~_n

Then again, FPS is kind of a boring genre for me. Halo boring, Resistance boring...

Now if you want my honest opinion on KZ2. I actually think it'll be better than any Halo game. I like the art style better.

I love Sega.

 

The way you worded it as saying people who had PS2 and havent played halo or gears will like something new sure made it seem like you were implying we have no shooters. See I dont like most RPGs(oblivion and fallout dont count to that lol, or FF) But I rather enjoy games with a lot of action and thinking. Strategy games and ofcourse RTS(My Most wanted sequel since 98 is starcraft 2[when it hits im getting a new uber computer and everything])

Nah, Killzone 2 was made for fans of shooters. Can't make a game just for the fans of the console this early in its life. This game was made mainly as an answer to halo. It was made to try to draw in some xbox fans and get new people to fall in love with the sony brand.(BTW otther then playstation, Sega is my favorite :D)

i tried the demo earlier and i thought the controls and AI were rather poor tbh.

I didn't take his post wrong, I think you did.

Also, I wanted the dreamcast more then I wanted the PS2. I got the PS2 from my dad. (Please note I had nes,genesis,32x,Sega CD, Sega Saturn, and Playstation at this time.) Now I have PS2/PS3/Wii

I haven't played either. I have no money.It has been snowing a lot so i used the money I got from shoveling for KZ2 lol. Who needs food when you have KZ2 right?
