I was really hoping for Splitscreen, I don't really care for LAN. I'm still getting it though.

your trolling fails
having or not having lan should mean just about zippo to 90+ percent of the populous....and having split screen multiplayer is indeed nice (ie. goldeneye, Quake, perfect dark or time splitters 2), but in this day and age of online gaming, is it going to make or break the deal.....
...newp

Lan is networking 2 to 4 wii's together like ds's do when you Pictochat the reason lan is cool is 4 wii's 4 tv and instead of using your internet connection the wii's talk directly to one another.
Thru your router or directly either way you need 2 or more wiis and 2 or more copies if the game.
Say for instance I have 3 360's and 12 controllers 3 copies of halo3 I can system link and 12 people can play under one roof at the sametime.
By the way you could ad another 360 and 3 more controllerwith H3 and go to 16 player also which is way wicked for parties.
This is why Cod4 with its splitscreen upto 4 players is cool but if you could push it to 16 players on 4 consoles instead of 16 console it would be better.

yea lan is pretty retarded, I don't know anyone that does that since Halo 2. and halo games were only ones ever heard of that people did it. Also only the super nerds in my school did it, and then like frat boys.
But no splitscreen is a dissapointment. I mean heck even just yesterday i was playing cod3 with a friend offline on his 360 to have fun while sitting around before going downtown. But with no splitscreen that means we would both have to have the system and online (live if 360) and be at our own rooms or houses to play with each other. That is gay. I want to be able to sit and chill in same room while playing
yea i don't really care about online splitscreen or not, but offline splitscreen was a must. I ain't gonna get the game anymore if it doesn't have offline splitscreen.
that was only reason i was gonna get it really, so i had a fun shooter to play offline with friends once in while.

LAN is still extremely common with PC. Almost every game has it. I can't think of a PC game that has split screen, but there might be some.
Personally, LAN > split screen, but it's easier to find a room full of PCs than a room full of Wiis.
Guys, send your complaints about split-screen to feedback@high-voltage.com
