To be honest, I didn't work as hard as I ought to have. I started out by doing a lot of swimming because I love it, and when my cardio fitness improved a bit I forced myself to go to the gym/running in the hills. It wasn't easy, the actual running I was totally useless at for a few weeks but when you get to the point at which you know you can't go on, don't stop. :D

I definitely have come a long way, I never thought of myself as 'big' but then I found a photo of myself I couldn't stop judging and had to do something about it. Now I love being all toned n shit.

I still have a bit of that social awkwardness tho, naturally.
