If you ever tried using an emulator for N64 games, it is really hard to get back to the "real thing" - be it N64 or downloaded on Wii. On an emulator you are able to play the games without any jaggies at all. Mind that I'm not a graphics nerd, I think that the graphics capabilities of the Wii is "good enough" except the fact that it cannot properly scale and output the games in 1080p. I do not care about big polygons or slightly low res textures, I just hate the jaggies. If the Wii was able to output and upscale games properly, this is the way N64 games would look like.

This is the biggest reason why I would like to see a Wii able to output 1080p. It would probably demand a bit more from the hardware, but I would gladly pay a little extra for that feature.
