Because there is no FFVII remake. Square Enix has denied that the game was being remade repeatedly. If a remake existed, there would have been some official confirmation by now. They even cited the long development time and cost as reason that they had no plans to remake the game.

i have a feeling ff7 remake will hit the psp.

HOnestly, i was believing in this rumour untill E3 2008, then all my hopes just faded away, now its more propable that FFVII Remake will be a 360 exclusive or time exclusive. Unless, Square Enix suddenly remember that it love's Sony, and that it was in a long Coma :)

Well maybe it's beacuse if they do release a FF7 remake it will take several more years before we even see any screenshoots.

Do we really want to go trough all this again? I mean how long have we been waiting for FF13? since 2005?, don't know about you but I'm getting really really annoyed waiting so long for a game.

Why? well they have FF5 and 6 left, atleast it looks like it since they have remade Ff3 and 4, can't see the logic with going from number 4 to 7 all of a sudden.

They're not gonna do it until they're in financial trouble or something. It's their ace card.

Here is all the evidence(?) pointing to a FFVII remake...
-FFVII being the highest grossing game in the entire series.
-Square Enix's inherent need to have remakes and rereleases of their games yet have not done the PS1 remakes yet.
-PS3 FFVII tech demo
-Crisis Core's ending, "To be continued in FFVII" (a little far fetched, but plausible)
-Advent Children qoutes and hints. Sephiroth's infamous line,"I will.....never be a memory". Which hints at that he, as well as the FFVII storyline, will never end.
-SE's half ass attempt to make it seem as if they were not back stabbing Sony by making FFXIII multiplat. They said that they were going to make it even on both sides(360/PS3) yet it has been seen to be overwhelmingly in MS's favor. This could hint that if their words can be trusted that they have a bombshell of an exclusive for PS3 in the works. THe only thing that could even out the fact that MS got FFXIII multiplat, Infinite Undiscovery exclusive, Last Remnant FIRST, SO4 exclusive(?), and a DLable FFVI is IF they were going to release FFVII exclusive remake for PS3. ;)

This evidence is subjective to how you think. I hope FFVII remake EXCLUSIVE to PS3 is the case. If not then I dont want it to even be made.

Eh, because we haven't had any new data on it in a while.

if it comes out after ff13 we are talking 2015 so no one will care
