Meta scores are good guidelines when you are unsure if you are going to buy a game or not, but if from everything you've seen and heard about KZ2, you've decided you wanted it, don't let a bunch of opinionated morons (critics or forum goers!) convince you otherwise.

As far as it dropping more, I don't think it would drop 3 points without a glut of really low scores, something I don't expect to happen. Whenever I get around to buying my PS3, KZ2 is first on the purchase list regardless of metacritic score!

Only 2 out of 36 reviews have it under 90..

Killzone 2 is a confirmed AAA by Metacritic standards

No I think it will most certainly stay at 90+ however a couple of reviews around 80 could lower it, and it could happen.

i do think killzone 2 hype-ers will have to deal with backlash if the scores fall below 90.

that said, i don't think it will fall below 90 unless some reviewers give it a failing grade (this is assuming that there are not that many reviews left to add).

whatever the case may be, enjoy the game if it's enjoyable... and i hope it is enjoyable because i've been somewhat caught up in the hype.
