This is why old timers complain about gaming difficulty these days. You have multiple lives because you are meant to die while trying to finish a level. Honestly its true, im not making it up.

I haven't played any after 5.
I always thought the original was the hardest. I beat 2 and 5 but never 1.
3 and 4 I didn't play to any great extent.

MegaMan for nes is freaking awesome, i played most as a child and just got them again recently.
I just finish the bosses, though. I really don't like willy's castle.

Damn, i'm just a megaman addict. In my psp i have:
NES - MegaMan 1 to 6
SNES - MegaMan 7, 8, X, X2 and X3
PS1 - MegaMan X4, X5 and X6
GBA - MegaMan Battle Network 6 Falzar
PSP - MegaMan Powered Up, MegaMan Maverick Hunter X
And i still have to add Megaman & Bass. You know, that sums 126 bosses to defeat

actually megaman 8 is for playstation and sega saturn
I have played mega man 2 & 3 and also metroid. I would have to say mega man has to be harder. The only part on metroid I really had problems with is Kraid.

About MegaMan 9, wasn't that hard, i think i got like 90% of the challenges, but finishing it without getting damage seems just impossible to me

i beat megaman 2. it was ONLY possible on an emulator though lol. i had the ability to cheat and save right before hard parts haha. otherwise that game is damn near impossible.

Im playing MM7 on SNES. It kicking my ass. I cant beat.....anyone.
