so in the end what data is going to settle the argument? or any of our arguments on here for that matter.
If its sales then people are going suggest that "sales don't mean anything", they truly arent the definate mark of quality, the biggest claim will be that more casuals bought it, and their dollars don't count to us.
If it's not sales than we can go the opposite direction and say reviews. Which system had the most amount of Metacritic score, or highest mean among the more established review crews. This also meets a confrontational poise, especially when most of us suspect, to some degree at least, that these people are susceptible to bribes or that the companies are outright paid to give a certain review. "Proffesional Critics" then don't count to us.
User ratings, well fanboyism 101 teaches us that we can't trust them.
So in the end I think we will be right back where we started.
Wii fans (generaly) will cry triumph because Wii actually got some exclusives that isn't just De Blob.
XBOX360 fans will claim that their exclusives were higher quality games than the others as we always do, whether we have evidence or not. i.e. Halo is great, Gears, Fable and Forza are untouchable and so on and so forth.
Lastly PS3 fans will be up to their old tricks in claiming whatever the latest title is for their system that doesn't suck is the ends all to be all (or however the saying goes)
So, only the people who own all three systems and don't care that much about console wars are the few who can really shed insight on the issue and the rest of us... well we're kinda wasting time at this point . Oh well, what else to do with time :^)
