I don't care about V, but VI needs to be on a console. I don't care which because I would buy which ever one they put it on.

I would buy FF VI Remake, definately it would be cool to replay it all gain on the DS. About FF VII, sorry but Sony does not own any sort of Rights to FF VII.

Both would be great, but I'd love to play it on DS. IV was so amazing. But yeah, VI is the best FF for me, so bring it on!

That's an often made mistake. Sony doesn't own the publishing rights to FFVII, it published the game for PS1. That's something different. Eidos published the PC version and I don't think anyone will argue that Eidos holds the publishing rights to FFVII.

We'll probably see a remake next gen though, but likely on the winning console/handheld in Japan.
