Simple. I like it.
those threads are soo tiresome. we need a "fanboy" forum where all these substanceless topics can be created so people who look for discussions based on facts can enjoy the other forums in peace
really whats the point of this?
why not start a "orange better than brown?" thread would make as much sense as this ,yeah yeah i know its MY opinion ..but really how many posts in this forum are actually useful and dont devole into flame wars`?

Even saying MGS4 has the better SP is pretty stupid. They're completely different games. Both can be played like an FPS, but one encourages more stealth and finesse. If you want constant non-stop shooting, KZ2 might suit you better. In terms of gameplay, they're both great quality games.
Seriously though, I get tired of MGS4's act-installs, cutscenes, and loads. The chase near the end of the South America act has a ridiculous amount of loading parts. Besides that, sometimes having to skip 3-4 cutscenes makes it feel like a loading time itself. I also almost forgot that even pulling up the weapons/items menu pauses the game - it'd be cool if they reduced the size of those menus and made it so they didn't pause everything.....it'd also make the game a little more challenging in a nice way.
For me, the gameplay gets interrupted far too much
Oh, hell no.
I'll give it graphics and online, and sales, because it's an FPS, and I think it's awesome. I think it's one of the best first person shooters I've ever seen.
But it's not MGS4. MGS4 is a classic.
MGS4 fans
just put Not applicable in the categories MGS4 won't win (grfx, online)
simple!!!
Metal Gear Killer confirmed? We don't need that.
I think Killzone 2 has a decent chance. MGS4 had the worst storyline in the series and the gameplay was way too action-oriented. I'd say that unless Killzone 2's story is terrible, it has a very good chance of being better... Though I don't exactly think Killzone 2's story is going to be very good. That's simply because I have yet to play a FPS with a good story and yes, I've played Half-Lifes.
Killzone is a FPS. Yes, i will have better graphics but the story will not be comparable to MGS4,
The characters... you simply can't compare Snake or Ocelot with any FPS character (they have a loong story, not only in the game but in the saga, and its pretty complex).
The gameplay... it depends, if you like FPS games, you'll say killzone 2 is better. I prefer MGS4 gameplay. The infiltration, the nerves of being half camouflated on the floor while 2 soldiers walk around you, knowing that one movement, one sound and you'll be death (sometimes you are in their way, so they step on you and "WTF? Shoot him!!! other times they smell you if you are smoking to relax, the folow your steps...). An FPS is more like "It moves, you shoot at him", yes, there things like taking cover, using the weapons efficiently but... pleaso, don't compare that with the tactic needed to infiltrate a biulding with 20 soldiers and cameras without being seen.... And MGS4 also has action...
The online. MGS4 has metal gear online, I think its quite good, but killzone 2 will probably beat MGO on online...
So killzone beats MGS4 on graphics and online... the others categories are subjective (well, history and charcters are not)

i have the same guess also
