Same here. I have a great time playing Boom Blox with my friends. 

I also don't have a problem with Party in the title since it is a good local multiplayer game.

Note: There is a game called Sports Party from Ubisoft that's only released in Others and sold 500K? WOW! Ubisoft is genius!

 



MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

  it’s ok, tho, as it is somewhat addictingly fun

 

considering i’ve had the game unopened for several months and finally just playin’ it about two or three weekz ago

Well i'm not sure why you're so cranky, but the point remains. Boom Blox is an excellent local multiplayer game, second only to Mario Kart and maybe Wii Sports (for Wii games). It may be lacking in certain regards, like number of levels or modes, but overall I found it to be great fun with a few friends. A sequel is good news because they'll hopefully expand upon the solid gameplay from the first.

Seriously though... i haven't even gotten around to getting the first yet.  I have way too many wii games to buy.

Hopefully this year they'll start going down in price like the 360 games...

i glad i just rented the first one. i love it very much, but i am happy that i can spend the money i was gonna spend of the first on the superior second one.

I suppose that it's a better local multiplayer game than SSBB.  I could name several others but I'll go with an obvious one.

I really can't get into Smash Bros anymore. I played the N64 one to death, but I really didn't enjoy my time with SSBB. Just not my cup of tea. So yeah, I have much more fun with Boom Blox than SSBB.

Boom Blox was a nominee for best local 2008 MP Wii game on IGN, so I'm sure why someone telling you that it's in their top 3 Wii MP games is such a shocker. The only upcoming games that I've read about that look like they could be more fun (local mp) than Boom Blox are Boom Blox 2, Lets Tap, and Wii Sports Resort.

Since you seem opposed to its existence and are against anyone enjoying it, we should agree to disagree and leave it at that.

This game sounds awesome, and I'm excited that it will be out for april. Wii has a pretty awesome Q1-Q2 line up.



Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.
