I would say group 2, but then, I am biased.

If I had to pick 5 of those games I would get:

MKWii (duh)
Okami (I am going to pick this up cheap some time)
Ratchet and Clank
Mirrors Edge
Prince of Persia

Group 2 with Silent Hill replaced by any of the Gears games.

wow it seems group #2 is a clear ldr so far.

Definitely group 1, but switch Unreal Tournament with something else....
