Common people , dont be that cheap . You know how much work they had to put in to reach 10 hours ? If a game has 8 hours of singleplayer , than call me satisfied . What about the old games , remember Resident Evil 2 ? I could beat that game in 3 hours ( needed 5 from first start ) , and same is with 1 & 3 . What about the old Crash games . All of them could be finished in less than 2 hours . For a game to have 10 hours of gameplay means that youl be hacking a lot in it . Rare games have more than 10 hours of gameplay , mostly RPGs , RTSs etc. I finished RE4 in 15 hours , and to be honest it was to much . 13 hours POP : WW , and again , it was a bit much .

you cant slash enemies in a blink of an eye. the games actually pretty hard if you tried it.
this is what im looking for in a game " music, epic storyline, great emotions, totally new flavor of cinematic experience  etc. and... really great battle system" well the visuals is a plus but as an RPG gamer im a sucker for a good story..

maybe they gave it 9+'s because the game offered such a great experience even though it had flaws.

No. This isn't one trick pony. Game has really solid AI, Kai provides totally different approach to gameplay (crossbow), very cool sixaxis features (you can control things you throw), some shooter action with guns, Quick Time Events etc. Also there is Hell mode (it's really hard) when you beat the game.

people just dont like paying 60 bucks for 10 hours of home entertainment..
well i guess buying 3 dvd's wont warrant you 10 hrs of entertainment, so thats a big enough bang for your buck.
and since its being hype to be a system seller, it pretty much fails on this category....
imagine people buying a ps3 just for this game.. then they beat it in half a day.......
what happens now?.

now GTAIV thats a great example for a system seller, people can play that game for months.

You have to be joking. Have you ever played gears online? Its not Halo, but its SICK. And as of last week was still the most played game on live, 9 months after release. It'd be one thing if ppl bought it thinking it would be great and then it wasn't, but to still have such amazing play-rates...this games multiplayer DEFINES strong

 Why you say GEOW MP 'sucks' when you never played it?

You were complaining a lot of time that N-fans say PS3 (games) suck when they don't own a PS3. 

And now you do it your self?

No you shut up, stop sticking words into my mouth, I said gears of war multiplayer wasnt a STRONG multiplayer, I didnt say it sucked.

GOW, MGS were less than 10 hours and people paid 60 bucks for them why they will not pay

 Ok then you didn't said the game MP sucked but still your opinion sucks especially when you did not played it.....It only sounds that you are bashing the X360 game.

10 hrs for $600+?. do you think a lot of people will make that decision?. the ps3 is a hell of a lot more expensive compared to the ps2.
 ill admit ill be willing to get a ps3 if this game gets a 9 average, but thats just me, ive been lookiing for excuses to pick up a ps3 for a long time now. but i dont think theirs a lot of people that think like that.
hey i played MGS and it took me around 20hrs to beat it, or did you just speed run it by not being stealthy and just killing everyone?.
God of War was not really a system seller in my opinion, i bought it but i didnt like it, personally the story was really weak, him killing off his family didnt seem that much of a big deal after he killed countless of others..
and now he has the right to challenge the Gods? plus hes a pretty shallow character in my opinion. i didnt even notice that much character development, he just stayed bitter...
anyway my ps2 system seller was FFX,  so i was pretty occupied for a few weeks..

ps:MGS and GOW are 50 nuys each when they came out.

Wait, Im not bashing anything, I browse through xbox forums all the time to see what they talk about, same with ps forums, lack of weapons really got to them as well as the 8 player match up. Thats why I say its not a STRONG MULTIPLAYER. Halo 2 is considered a strong multiplyer and resistance.
