one more thing ,,let's not forget that 360 had an exclusive in the last quarter from Ubisoft:

Naruto:broken bond

Your point is? PS3 had an exclusive Naruto game if that makes you feel better..

dude naruto:broken bond is publsihed by ubisoft so sales of that game will give a big boost to 360 over PS3 in ubisoft Q3 financial report because PS3 had no exclusives in Q3 from ubisoft.(naruto on PS3 is made and publsihed by nameco bandai)

Dude stop acting like Naruto is like COD,Its just a DBZ rip off.

Its not gonna be HUGE selling millions first day and moving 360's...

it has sold around 400 K  according to this site in the past 2 months.(more than PS3 bioshock which apearently was the reason take 2 had more revenue on PS3 in the last quarter)

Ugh, this thread is a mess. First and foremost, the PS3 is definitely still a worthwhile platform for multiplatform releases. It wouldn't even have to perform on par with the 360: even a 66/33 split would be more than fine. That's how porting works.

Second, all of this data is wrong or misleading. First, Ubisoft did not earn more money on the PS3 than the 360 this last quarter: they did earn more money earlier in the year, which we made a post about 6 months ago. Second, neither is the actual leader.

The DS is, by a wide margin, the largest seller for Ubisoft, generating nearly 50% more revenue than any other system. It is clearly Ubisoft's main platform.

revenue = / = profit

ps3 games are most expensive etc etc

Their Wii section is the most profitable.

 we really don't know how big a difference their is to be honest. It's pure speculation to say that 'ps3 games are most expensive' without backing it up with evidence.

He asserts things he can't back up all the time , it's best just to leave him.

 The "source" article was really terrible in reporting the data, but can someone provide some article about developers dropping ps3 support?  Since the ps3 would only need to sell more than 10% of total sales to make it breakeven, I'm curious as to why someone would go exclusive, without some incentive from the console maker?

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm has sold 500k copies to date without a japanaese release yet if that helps at all.

or others, for that matter.

So.... I see "Income" in the OP but I'm still not sure. Is this "Net Income" or "Revenue"?
