Oh my far the games by Team ICO ala ICO and SOTC.

Good games but BY FAR not as good as people make the games out to be, mediocre at best.

Hmm. Wow, it's a lot easier to think of underrated games than overrated ones.

I would go with Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. It was painful. It didn't deserve more than a 3.

Amplitude

Frequency

 

Those are definately underrated. Good choices.

 

As for overrated:

The Bouncer

State of Emergency

Twisted Metal games

Jak 2

The Mark of Kri

I love the game (one of my 2 favourites of all time), but I'd have to say Kingdom Hearts.

Also, God of War.

Final Fantasy XII (at least from a critics standpoint).

-Dragon Quest VIII (eveyone knows I hate this game)
-Okami (good concept, but far too repetitive, it turned out boring)
-Kingdom Hearts (far too many gameplay problems, the second is excellent though)
-Metal Gear Solid 3 (this one didn't hook me as the previous two, a lot of changes to gameplay I didn't like)
-Shadow Hearts (OK, it's not that good-rated, but it's a really mediocre RPG)

Every GTA game I suppose, and that's just by playing the PC versions. GTA IV was the first 3D GTA I played on a console and no matter were the controls and camera better or worse, they'd still suck. Besides, their gameplay is boring.
