I expect DS2 to like like gamecube and have Super Mari Sunshine as a launch title.

I expect PSP2 to come out at the end of this year and have Xbox level graphics, or not come out at all.

I think your right about the DS2 but PSP2 will probablyhave a little leap in grafix and advertize that...(DS2 is not gonna do anything for grafix, but rather the touch screen and etc.)

To what extent do you really think you can produce a system with better graphics than the Gamecube/XBox on a handheld system and keep it small, inexpensive and have a long battery life? On top of that, on a tiny screen can you really see much of a difference between PSP level graphics and bleeding edge PC graphics?

the PSP would be more powerful than the ds2(or whatever it will be named)

not much, like i sed "little leap in grafix"

Nintendo is, of course, the wild card. Even more so with handhelds, where power has now become second fiddle to functionality

From Sony, however, i would expect something on par with the Wii & Xbox. However, PSP's future is in doubt, i think. Some signs indicate "yes" and some "no." The success in Japan, the fact that it profits, and the fact that it's the first alternative to a Nintendo handheld which isn't a joke say "yes." The rampant piracy, incredible software droughts, and Sony's current financial troubles say "no." You can't say if there will be a PSP2 or not

well of course PSP2 would be more powerful, but I guess DS2 will still sell better which is a shame since its the same old games re-done. The world ends with you looks cool but not much else is new.

Isn't that a stupid argument to make considering that one of the PSP's major problems (that still persists today) is that the majority of its library are ports and scaled down PS2 games? If you're going to troll a potential DS2, you really should do more than flip the PSP's reality with a DS2 fabrication.

Tag - "No trolling on my watch!"

there is going to be psp 2 but sony will likely focus on services.

going the nokia way to bring profits. a Texas Instrument chipset, etc.

maybe phone capabilities but not likely unless new batteries are ready for that.

First of all, the PSP in '10 is an unconfirmed rumour. It may well be true, but it could also not be.

I suspect Nintendo will want to wait long enough that they can release an affordable DS2, which can play ports of Wii games. Because I suspect the DS2 will have motion sensing capabilities (touch screen capabilities as well, because Nintendo always provide a generation of backwards compatibility with their portables)

Being as the PSP is more powerful than the PS2, it seems fairly likely that the PSP2 will be more powerful than the Wii, and thus more powerful than the DS

I expect PSP2, because PSP already had good graphics
GBC - NES quality
GBA - SNES quality
DS - N64 quality
DS2 - GCN quality probably
