Forums - Sales - Mirror's Edge's sales should be better in Europe.

As you know , Mirror's Edge is not a very big success. EA has decided to diminish the price of the game : yesterday , it was 70 € , today it's 30 € ! In my videogame's shop in France, two 360's owners have bought the game today , and one PS3's owner. I think a lot of people didn't want to pay 70 € to play 6-7 hours, now it's different. I think sales should be better next week.

I have seen it for £15 in some places, £20 in nearly all places though

I got it for the PC today. I'm enjoying it very much..don't know what all the hate is about (or well...hate.. i think it deserves higher ratings)

Wow. 70 Euros is 90 USD.

I know there are tax differences, but even adding on sales tax, most places in the US you are only looking at 66 USD tops (and most places 63-64) for the most expensive games (without peripherals).

I could see how that could depress sales.

30 Euro is 38.60 USD -- a bargain.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

I discussed with players a month ago , and a lot of them told me they didn't want to pay 70 euros fot 6-7 hours . 10 euros/hour , that's inbelievable.

70 euros is overpriced for every game (well except Guitar Hero, Wii Fit, etc.)... you really get screwed over in Europe!

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...

We could use that argument to say why no PS3/360 games sell in Europe, as most of them start at 60-70 € depending on the country.

That's exactly why I didn't buy it at full price, now I might

Mirror's Edge is bad. It deserves bad sales. It belongs in a bargain bin with NFS Undercover and Army of Two. Are NFS Undercover and Army of Two on sale?

Who can tell me what those three games have in common?
