Good games like Half-Life 2 and FallOut 3 can for example be finished in only 1 and a half hours. But I took multiple times that amount to finish Half-Life 2 and wouldn't have enjoyed the game as much if I tried to rush it.

You can finish Fallout 3 in one and a half hours?

As in all the quests, all the items, maximum level, *insert FO3 jargon because I haven't played it here*?

Or are you referring to finishing an RPG by completing the main quest? That taking one and a half hours is also improbable.

Yes, Halo hasn't the best grafix and not as much maps as Resistance. But thats not what that game made so great- not only in terms of sales. It's just perfectly balanced. Every weapon, every map, every vehicle...

Halo 3 was massively hyped, great marketing, so you can't compare sales directly as a measure for quality.

I also think Halo 3 was overrated.

Apparently it can be done in less than 75 minutes.

In my opinion, Halo wins because of the "cinema-mode". You're playing a party, you made the most incredible headshot or you've been killed by a warthog that crashed on you after a spectacular explosion...hop...replay! And save it on your HDD if you want.

That give all the funny youtube videos and if you're planning to play with friends, that will assure some laughs.

Trying to finish Fallout 3 in 75 minutes is like trying to make a grill out of a console. It's just spiteful. It's like you bought the game so you could insult it. Sure, you can finish it in 75 minutes, like you can go through MGS4 using only a rocket launcher, like you can go through BioShock with just a wrench. But it's no fun.

I' ve forgott to admit I've never played Resistance II, but I doubt it is as well balanced as Halo.

I've played only the first one and it was just ugly in my opinion.

I liked the setting and plot in Resistance 1 and 2 better, but in everything else, Halo blows it out of the water.

Example: Resistance never stood a chance against CoD on the PS3, but not only does Halo 3 lead it most of the time, the weeks/months that CoD was on top (In users), Halo 3 came roaring back afterwards. Resistance (1 and 2) just don't have that sort of support from insomniac, but that's also partly due to them being best at making one off titles with no support required afterwards (Ratchet and Clank etc).

Also, I find the combat in Halo 3 to be more enjoyable and the AI smarter. That's just my personal experience though, so it won't be the same for everyone.

Is there a video made of this speedrun ?

And if yes, can I watch/download it anywhere ?

I'm very interested, because I love speedruns.

Honestly, you 've just said you haven't played R2 and yet you deem it necessary to already pass judgment on it?

I haven't played Halo, and I refrain from talking about it in any way, keeping my comments to what I know (Resistance 2).

I suggest you do the same and do not try to sneak in a comment anyway.
