here comes patch 1.20


Stability issue regarding randomly named games resolved.
Stability fix when rapidly tapping (X) can cause crash on spawn-select.
Stability issue regarding Saboteur’s disguise ability resolved.
Stability fix on ‘Creating game’ with a blank name.
Stability fix for repeatedly entering exiting game.
The Ignore list functionality corrected.
Unlock of “Frontrunner” Medal now functioning correctly.
Fix for incorrect award of win to clan not showing for game resolved.
Battle Replay for Corinth Crossing not appearing correctly on www.killzone.com.
Issue with not being able to defuse the Search and Destroy objective resolved.
HUD issue correction during Assassination mode when playing as a Medic.
Controller input tweaks and modifications.
Fix for auto-lock on of shotgun exploit.
Fix for D-Charge issues in Campaign mode.


lets see what hides behind the words "tweaks" and "modifications" regarding the controls..same goes for the shotgun.hopefuly it leads to less shotgun usage

Awesome!  Those are great, especially the shotgun exploit.  Now its gonna take at least a little skill with the shotty to rack so many kills.  I think there are so many people running around with shotty's because alot of people like to play the Engineer, and its really effective on the smaller maps.  Sucks on the bigger ones though.



yeah after testing it a little.. during the few matches i played.. i found no non engineer using a shotgun.. most switched to the good ol isa rifle apparently

as for the controls.. they are different.. the old sensitivity setting wont work so well anymore... more on that once i tested them a little more.. just takes a little getting used to it again cant say if the control adjustment also concerns singleplayer or if its mp only

 edit: okay after some testing in multiplayer i can say that what has been greatly improved is the sensitivity during aiming ..thats why more people use the sniper rifle and less the shotgun now..or the isa rifle if they haven unlocked it yet.. there also seems to be less engineers..

since people can now properly aim.. and more are  using  the sniper ..and the overall feeling that shooting without aiming is a lot less accurate than before ..the overall tactic of run and gun is getting more seldom and people now actually use cover the way they were supposed to.. well blood gratch and rade academy being the exeption but who would have guessed



Wow, the multiplayer is addicting! I prefer the single mission bodycounts to the five-mission at a time snoozefests. Over quickly, and fun the whole way through.

Some complaints. Let me know if any of these can actually be done:

You can't change loadout unless you are about to enter a match
You can't change loadout between rounds.
You don't get experience as you kill enemies, only at the end of a match.

Only mild annoyances.

You can change your load out every time you die....what are you talking about....

Just hit R1 to go to a character selection before chosing your spawn point and hitting X.



CURRENTLY PLAYING:  Warframe, Witcher 2

well the 5 mission ones are good for making progress with you badges for example the 5 kills with a sentry per round or the 10times use of assaults speed ability would be nigh impossible to do in a match that is over in 5 minutes or less

Ah, thanks. That's why I asked if I really could do those things, and I was just being dim.

What about when you're not in a match?

I dislike the single mission games. I like playing with all the game modes. You can still get lots of points and it's what makes it's online so unique in that you don't have to get taken out of the game so fast.

I'm seeing WAY too many body count only games popping up, it's making me sick.



^They take too long. 40 minutes is too long for one game.

Plus, some of the missions suck. For example, in Search and Destroy, not ONCE have I seen the target successfully bombed. Assassination can be fun, Capture and Hold is okay, Search and Retrieve is painful.
