Okay fine, I decided to read it. The whole thing made me want to bust out laughing.
Oh god, he had to press triangle to get out of the options menu so he could start playing the singleplayer? Oh shit, this game is terrible! Down with those stupid menu systems!
Has this thread not been deleted yet. Come on VG get rid now. There are so many inaccuracies in the review it's untrue.

Oh dear, you fell for it. His review skips over everything and includes what we all new. He says nothing new to indicate playing the game and seems to be the only reviewer to have to install the game on the hard drive.

the site is obviously pathetic. the title banner isnt even linked to a main page... that right there shows how unprofessional and BS the site is.
| STORY Killzone 2 has, simply, the best story in all of gaming history. It's not necessarily the plot twists and turns that make it great, but it's the delivery. No game in my 22 years of gaming has sucked me into the story this much. You actually care about your teammates and their whacky facial expressions, you care about your next objective, you care about coming out on top. With Killzone 2, it's not a fight to beat the game...it's a fight to beat the Helghan. And the ending leaves you craving more. |
Hell yeah. This is awesome.
He complains about the controls, but I've played the beta and it felt great.
Even running and jumping felt like you're really heavy with equipment, which is definitely a good thing.
He's probably used to games like resistance 2 where the weapon felt like it had little weight and Hale felt light.
Aiming wasn't bad in the beta, it felt slow at first, but then it gets really comfortable after a few minutes.
I was really good at sniping headshots.
So most of the complaints in his review I have disproved in my head, save for the AI.
And the story is the thing I care most about in videogames.
So this is definitely shaping up to be a must buy for me.
I just need a more reliable source.
Also guys, read the full review rather than just judging by the score.
