I'm sorry, i thought this was a "Gaming Discussion" Forum. At least that's what it says at the top of the page. If "real news" is what you are looking for, maybe try CNN?

My comment wasn't directed at you for posting the article.  It was directed more towards the people posting replies as if they thought it was really fiscal earnings was definitely the reason for the "delay" because they read it on a fan blog.

Are you that blind? The port has nothing to do with the time the game is being released. Did you even read the article?
Lighten up, the article is just speculation.  It's certainly quite plausible but there is no evidence, at least from reading the article.
I think Iwata's wording of it being released after April 2010 make this theory more plausible than the 360 port being the delay.

I definitely don't think this is Microsoft's fault. Final Fantasy games always take so long to completed. I mean this game has been in development for 5 years. Their games always take long and the game going multiplaform, doesn't delay the release. This is practically a tradition for Resident Evil 5.

its not m$ fault at all, square-enix has always taken alot of time to localize a game for the states and europe. also if square-enix releases ff13 in fall of 09 in japan, then their is no way to release the game here in the states and europe before a 6 month period due to them getting it ready for our shores. i fully expect ff13 to release in september 2010, that month makes alot of sense because not many big titles release then, so they could maximize their sales.

If it is being released in Japan first, then this is good for Sony. I mean, Final Fantasy XIII is exclusive for the PS3 in Japan. So this could boost PS3 sales. This could be proof that the PS3 version will slighty outsell the 360 version.

Tell me about it The_Vagabond7. Even after posting the release dates over every Final Fantasy game from VII on in the other two threads, fanboys still tried to blame MS. I so tired of fanboys. FFXII took almost a year to get to Europe. I guess that MS's fault too.

Oh yeah ? Have you heard that Iraq has weapons of mass destructon? I think it was even said by the guy from your signature :D

The only reason to split sales like they mention in article would be if Agito and Versus were coming in fiscal year 2011 which better won't be true.
