it's just a little hard to take your prediction seriously when wii sports, wii play, wii fit, mario kart wii, nintendog, new super mario brothers, pokemon dimond/pearl, brain training, mario kart ds, more brain training, and animal crossing world wide have all outsold halo 3 so far this gen.

I can't see it being anything else than Halo 3. GT5 won't come near Halo 3, I don't see GT5 even reach 10 million.

I have always said in the last fwe months that COD 4 sold/will sell 10 millions on PC alone. The game STILL sells good, and has probably been always in the top5 best selling PC games every month until november. It is also the second most played PC game today, only behind World of Warcraft.

Spore did better than The Sims 2 did when it launched, and has the extra of being sold in digital stores like Steam.

GT3 really isn't the best example to use to support your argument, since it was bundled pretty heavily at one point.

The GT franchise has always outsold the Halo franchise. I see no reason why this trend won't continue..

I am not saying the GT series doesn't sell well.  But hasn't the series been bundled a lot? 

I don't think the series is what it used to be, it may sell 5-6 million copies.  But I don't think it will do much more than that.  Unless of course the PS3 drops price to 299 and bundles it wth every PS3.

Well being bundled or not its always been an amazing franchise in terms of both sells and quality..


I think most people here can agree that even if GT wasn't bundled it would still see amazing sells and be one of the playstations biggest franchises..

As for it not being what it use to I can't argue with what you feel about it but I thought it was amazing and its a day one buy for me..


oh yeah and its probably not going to be released till late 09 to early 2010 and im sure the ps3 will see a price cut by then..
