Yeah I'll believe it when I see it. Final Fantasy games always have a significant gap between Japanese release and North American release. Then our poor friends in Europe usually have to wait a good amount of time after us North Americans get the game. I don't live in Europe but I'm tired of you guys getting screwed.

And I would love to take it from you, the bundle that is. But I can understand how that would be frustrating, expecially with something as big as FFXIII. 

I doubt 2009. Ask them 3 years ago will it be released in NA in 2009 and they would have said "sooner, 08 or something or course"

Well maybe they already have the main game finished for japanese release, and are localizing it as we speak for the NA version. And they are only makiing minor tweaks and fixes as it stands.

america in 2009 is possible if they delay the 360 port

like that's gonna happen.

They're just optimistic on the NA release. It's def not coming this year, but it will come out in Japan.

I am going to get the PS3 version;

I kind of think the "set to release on both sides of Pacific in 09" is something more assumed by the author of the article since that is technically the set release date right now, but I don't think this is an announcement or reassurance from SE.

I am so going to import this game. It will be my first import ever as well.
