GC and xbox both get madden 08, and GC got ratatouille and xbox got NCAA football not long ago. I think those are the last games though, Madden should be the last one for both consoles.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Im sure EA will be the last to stop producing games on either format, they released their sports games on the PS1 to the bitter end. There was Radilogy / radio alergy (a shoot em up) due for the GC which was set to tbe the first (and probably last) Gc game to bear a sticker saying "also playable on the wii", but it looks like thats been shelved as it was due in june i think.

The Gc and the Xbox seem to have died rather abruptly, both partly due to Sonys dominence and the fact that MS and Nintendo had bigger projets to push, since their last was pretty much a failure.

radio allergy was cancelled, it might come out on another system.

Gamecube is still getting Backyard Baseball, Power Rangers, and a few movie games. But yeah, nothing really good.

Do you ever really know what you're talking about or do you just jump head long into any thread to make a Sony pitch given the opportunity. Your post was already proven incorrect in this thread before you made it. That aside its already well known the PS2 is still going. Why do you even bother?

yeah, i heard the same, it did make it out in japan on the cube (which i have) and to be honest it was a surprise it was sceduled for a western release in the first place.

It would make a good candidate for the wiiware channel or whatever its called, the game itself is very small.

DC yes it has been refurbished and for sale since feb 2006 on segadirect.jp why do you think IGN relaunched IGN dreamcast in may 2006 http://dreamcast.ign.com/

now I know why I have been getting server fatal error all day

As for the Dreamcast, it is alive and well. There are several companies that have titles slated for 2008 releases. From what I understand we are to see more from the guys who brought us "Last Hope."

SEGA was to cancel their production of the GD-ROM's after the 2/2007 which what the same month that "Last Hope" launched, but it seems that there was enough of a buzz still that I haven't heard anything official yet.

Since more games are headed towards the system, it could be that they are only manufacturing limited numbers now. Also, practically all Dreamcasts can play a regular old CD-ROM with a burned image on it, so the new releases might not need the GD-ROM's at all.

Speaking of that, the CD-ROM's allow for tons of the homebrew and underground developers to launch their own works on the system. ( You must play Beats of Rage! ) This is another reason why it loved by many in the community. Essentially it is a console that allows the indy developer a platform to launch their work.

Curiously on top of all that, the online scene is still ajolt for 4x4 evolution, Maximum pool, Quake 3 arena, and Starlancer. Quake 3 being the most popular. The rare broadband adapters will run you $100 on ebay at least. Too bad no one plays Chu Chu rocket online anymore. :(

Also there are some major fan-translations hitting the scene too. For instance Segagaga is being translated to English right now! This game is said to be one of the best hidden gems for the system which actually puts you as the head CEO of SEGA in the near future where SEGA only controls 10% of the market and your job is to expand their influence! Seriously, the irony of life can be so bold sometimes.
