KZ2 for me
I don't own a PS3 but I'd say KZ2. I liked H3 for its multiplayer. And having motion controls isn't enough for me for the Conduit, it looks mediocre.

Alright.
The Conduit is the most generic game on that list and it's probably right up there on most other lists. If it were on any other console it would be completely ignored. I doubt HVS would have even found someone willing to publish it by now.
Shows how desperate you guys are for shooters, but this has been pretty obvious ever since I heard people saying that crappy MOH PSP port was actually a good game.

I'm not saying it as a bad thing or anything. You can look at it this way: we know it's going to be good! Bungie know how to make good shooters, and we've certainly all played our share of them. I'm kinda interested to see how they handle turning the protagonist into "just" a regular non-cyborg supersoldier while making it possible to take on Elites, but it's not like there's a chance of the game being bad or anything, and the overall style is bound to be pretty close to the other Halo games.

Right. The Conduit can't be done on any other console that's why it's so anticipated. If it keeps its promise, it will be the best controlling console shooter ever, with fully customizable controls, HUD, and unique controlling weapons.
That's what makes it a lot less generic than Killzone or Halo, which may be good, but bring nothing really new to the table.
Never been interested in Halo (and judging by my short play experience, it's not worth the hype), The Conduit looks pretty mediocre. Yep, Killzone 2 is it. I'm not very interested in it but still a bit at least.
Killzone 2 of course. I'm not keen on paying $60 for a half a game

I doubt that The Conduit will have the best console FPS controls ever. Ever seen the videos for The Conduit? Whenever the guy aims, he always points to the edge of the screen to center the enemy towards the middle of the screen THEN he starts pointing at the enemy to shoot at him. The people playing almost always overshoot to center the screen on the badguy before actually shooting at him. Watch any video of any FPS on the Wii and it always happens. The only way that I could see this not happening is to keep the crosshair centered in the screen, and always move the viewpoint when the Wiimote is moved (like in FPS games on the consoles/computer). At which point it basically becomes an analog stick. And it's advantages are basically nullified with maybe the exception of how intuitive it would be to use for a beginner.
The Wiimote as it is implemented in most Wii FPS games is basically only good for light gun games where you don't have to worry about getting the enemy character on screen because that part is automatically done for you.
As for the OP: Killzone 2.

It has a customizable HUD and unique controlling weapons? Well, this changes everything, obviously!
I seriously can't believe you had only three reasons why The Conduit is better than KZ and Halo and those were two of them.

People that call The Conduit a generic shooter have some nerve. What is Halo other than your pinicle of generic FPS. What sets The Conduit apart from Shooter #897 is that is uses the Wiimote effectivly (or at least is supposed to). People that havent played a competant Wii FPS wont know anything about that, or frankly the wont care. Watching a video and controlling the video are two entirely different things.
Not only is it supposed to control the best (again, unless youve played a good Wii FPS, this wont mean anything to you), but the weapons are only possible on Wii (probaly possible on PC though). Some guns let you contol the direction in whcih you missile is flying, others have ammo that splits into 2/more shots, each controlled with the IR.
