I hope you are kidding Soriku. Tales of Ten has three strikes against with the gaming media.

1. Its a JRPG - The gaming press in the West has it in for JRPGs. It's the most unfairly reviewed genre in gaming.

2. It's not called Final Fantasy - FF games are the only exception to the rule. Whether they are deservering or not, you can pretty much count on a main series FF game getting a 9/10 rating from the bulk the press.

3. It's a Wii exclusive - The gaming press is run by the "snobcore", the chance of them giving any Wii game, GOTY is practically nil. When you add in the fact that its a JRPG not called Final Fantasy, it's chances become nil.

SO4 will be great, but it's in a completely different league.

Don't compare SO4 to Mass Effect 2, it will make an otherwise great JRPG look like crap

I just finished playing through mass effect. I'm glad I got it on PC, 80-120fps for the win at 1920x1200 :D. Overall I really liked the game, it was fun which is all you can ask for a $30NZD purchase (which is about $20 USD atm, go sales at EB!)

Possibly the only real things I'm hoping they fix up is

1. squad AI was a little too stupid.
2. Mob AI was a bit stupid too. I'm hiding behind a column (which isn't a map object but rather just a model object put there) and they can't seem to work out that they can't hit me :S
3. Compared to Baldur's gate 2 (what I consider bioware's masterpiece) Mass Effect was an _insanely_ short game. please 200 hours+ gameplay thank you.
4. *wishful* ps3 version would be nice.. oh well so long as there is a PC version I'll be happy.
