We "currently" have no plans for a PS3 version

this is quite different than the 100 - 200 outright no's from Kojima & Konami about a 360 MGS4....no?

-- you see S-E & Tri-Ace have been wording it very cheekily since they announced SO4 for 360...

Thats pretty affirmative. It means there are no plans for it on PS3. It might be released 18 months later for PS3 though. When someone says there are no plans currently, that means no plans. No plans at all.

That's some nice info ya back there about SO4. The release date for the US version was pushed up to 2/24 which means there is less time for me to beat Persona 4 before the game comes out.

I cant beleive you just compared Star Ocean 4 to MGS4. Star ocean 4 will never have the market appeal of a Metal Gear Solid game. But anyway, I might pick this up for 360 if WKC turns out to be a dud and I cant finish it.

I think the point of the MGS4 quote was that X360 fanboys were claiming up one side and down another than it was going to (eventually) come to the 360. 9 months later, and it's never even been aluded to by Konami.

The same can be said for all of the 360 must-haves that Sony fans argued would come, but never did.

And for those really wanting/questioning if it'll come to PS3: Since SO4 uses the same engine as IU, having an IU port come to PS3 would be a great indication that SO4 was coming as well. Of course, that hasn't happened yet.

Well there is Bioshock. We'll have to wait and see about Mass Effect 2 and Left 4 Dead (come on, EA!).

And as for this interview, it says "no plans currently" as opposed to "no plans", so I'll keep hoping for a port.

Does anybody actually believe that Star Ocean 4 is not coming to the PS3?

Remember what Square Enix said about needing 2-3 million sellers? Yeah, that's not going to happen with a 360-exclusive JRPG.

Besides, just look at BioShock.
