Considering I can complete COD4 (the current FPS king) in about 5 hours easy going, I think this games longer length is a point worth informing gamers about.

SOunds good to me. I will just play through the first time on easy to enjoy the story, then on medium for some chalagne + catch what I might have missed in the first play through, then on to hard and whatever they call their insane difficulty. Sounds like I can get close to 40 hours on just single player, which is fine by me. I rarly play online, due to to many retards with mics. MLB 09 The Show is out a couple of days after Killzone anyways so I will be playing a lot of that also.

for the genre, 10 hours is comparatively quite long.

Halo3, COD4, COD:WaW and GoW were all around 5 -7 hours

i have friends that don't even bother with the campaign as the biggest draw is the multiplayer mode.

Maybe i think so however because i mostly play other genres where the single player option often isn't an afterthought.
